Cheylostigmaeus tarae sp. nov. and Stigmaeus delaramae sp. nov. (Acari: Stigmaeidae) from Kurdistan, Iran.

Two new species belonging to the family Stigmaeidae, Cheylostigmaeus tarae sp. nov. and Stigmaeus delaramae sp. nov., are described from specimens collected from soil and litter under pear trees, Pyrus communis L. (Rosaceae) in Iran. A key to all Iranian species of the genera Cheylostigmaeus (male) and Stigmaeus (female) are provided. 

Three new species of the genus Neophyllobius Berlese (Acari: Camerobiidae) from Southern and Southwestern Iran.

Three new species of the genus Neophyllobius Berlese, 1886 are described and illustrated from Iran: Neophyllobius edwardi sp. nov. and Neophyllobius seemani sp. nov. collected from soil under oak trees; and Neophyllobius dogani sp. nov. collected from soil under Astragalus bushes. A key to the species of Iran is provided.

Urocystis phalaridis sp. nov. on Phalaris sp. from Iran

A new smut fungus, Urocystis phalaridis, is described on Phalaris sp. (Poaceae) from Iran.

New species and new records of mites of the family Laelapidae (Acari: Mesostigmata) associated with Coleoptera in Iran

We report on a collection of mites in the family Laelapidae associated with scarabaeid beetles in Iran. Five known species are recorded from Iran for the first time: Coleolaelaps asiaticus Karg, 1999, Hypoaspis integer Berlese, 1911, Hypoaspis pentodoni Costa, 1971, Hypoaspis phyllognathi Costa, 1971, and Hypoaspis terrestris (Leonardi, 1899).
